Waverley Community Strategic Plan

We want to hear from YOU!

Following each council election, it's our responsibility to review our Community Strategic Plan. This plan outlines the community's vision - your vision for us - and what our priorities over the next 11 years will be.

Council needs to adopt the Waverley Community Strategic Plan by June 2018, and we're embarking on an extensive consultation and engagement program to ensure the whole community has the opportunity to contribute.

The first phase of consultation will kick off in late-November and will be focused around what your vision of Waverley is. The second phase will be in February and will include more detailed discussions based on themes. The final phase will be in May, as part of the public exhibition of draft strategies, and part of that will be checking that the vision and priorities reflect what you told us.

The information we receive will also be used to create or update a number of Council's strategic documents including:

  • 3 year Delivery Program
  • 1 year Operational Plan
  • Long Term Financial Plan
  • Strategic Asset Management Plan
  • Environmental Action Plan
  • Cultural Plan
  • Social Sustainability Plan
  • Amazing Library Plan
  • Recreational Needs Study

We know you're busy over summer, but we are committed to reaching you wherever you may be, and whatever you're doing. We'll be at the beach, at your school holiday program, at your event, in your shopping centre - asking you what you see for the future of Waverley, and what you want Council to prioritise.

To be notified, and to keep up to date with opportunities to contribute, please provide us with your contact details, click the 'Sign Up banner' at the top of the page, or click here: haveyoursaywaverley.com.au/register
